How many hetalia books are there

Summary : More history, more countries, more Hetalia. World War what? Review : Another one of our joint reviews, because both of us like this and we couldn't decide who'd review it. So we did it together. Also contributing is Iza. Nina: This has no plotline whatsoever.

The idea is fun-personify almost every country in the world and see how they get on. Its a book full of and making fun of stereotypes.

Katy: For example, Japan can't make up his mind about anything, Russia wants to kill everyone, the Italies eat a lot of pasta and pizza and England's cooking is terrible. K: This goes on about various historical events that have been adapted so it could go into this book.

N: Take the revival of the modern Olympics. Greece is talking to France about the Ancient Olympics. France then calls for the world to participate, which happened in real life. And then, this being Hetalia, he tries to get everyone to do it naked.

The better jokes are obvious to get and really make you laugh. However, because all the personifications are based on how the Japanese see the world, there needs to be footnotes to explain it all, which slightly ruins the jokes. K: Many of the relationships are inaccurate, but they are hilarious all the same. Iza: The panel and actual manga has a sketchy but toned feel.

Pictures range from emotive chibis to detailed full body drawings. The colouring census a soft shading technique rather than traditional cell shading. Overall the art is consistent althoug some characters are difficult to distinguish without colour. Each character has their own distinctive personality, dependant on how Hidekaz Himaruya sees people from that part of the world. The final panel is of the Polish flag, blowing in the wind. A Christmas-themed chapter taking place in the Gakuen Hetalia universe: Germany, Italy, and Japan, three students at the Academy Of The World , go around and interview other students on how they celebrate their winter holiday.

Greece and Japan get to know each other as Turkey makes his debut in the published version. Another webcomic reprint, this chapter features Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The story of Russia's sisters, Belarus and Ukraine. While Ukraine is unable to meet with her younger brother and is always in some sort of crisis, Belarus avidly stalks her older brother in hopes of getting him to marry her which has caused HIM to have a sort of crisis.

England is able to see various mythical Japanese creatures, who are dying out due to the disappearance of belief in them by the Japanese. After the end of Christmas, Japan and America both prepare for the coming of spring in their own individual ways. A redrawn version of the webcomic strip: Germany and Italy both make wishes on a star, but only one comes true.

Germany and Italy stake out England's camping ground while stranded on an island, but wind up joined by Japan while stuck there. The America and England strips and A Timeless Question Comic Diary 6 are reprinted in a revised format, as England flashes back to moments when he raised the young America. England is captured by the Italy brothers after falling into a hole in their yard, but makes attempts to escape their watch reprinted from the Extra Stories.

Reprints the Extra Story of the same title, and introduces Iceland , Denmark , and Norway to the published manga. Iceland finds out that he's Norway's brother, much to the amusement of the other Nordics who want him to call them "Onii-chan" big brother.

Another reprint from the Extra Stories. Reprints the Switzerland and France portion of the Economy strips. A story featuring England and France that takes place in AD, in which they fear the world will end. A reprint of the webcomic strip of the same name. However, a new first panel was added to reference Prussia's encounter with Austria in the original web version of Swiss Dopiness.

Poland and Lithuania form the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Also features appearances by Turkey, Prussia, and Denmark. Sweden eventually decides to pull out of the war, to the confusion of Finland and Poland and Lithuania.

A reprinted and slightly revised version of the webcomic story, detailing Poland and Lithuania's side of the story after Tannenberg, with appearances by Hungary and Netherlands. Hungary and Prussia meet up again as teens, after Prussia has become an actual nation and Hungary has had to fight against the Ottoman Empire. The Allies plan to take down the Axis once again, while unbeknownst to them, Seychelles wonders what they are all doing on one of her islands.
